The purpose of the football contest at GILLFAMILY.COM is to encourage family and friends to interact via the internet. As such, we don't solicit contestants from the online community. If you're interested in participating in an online NFL contest, you may want to take a look at any of the following links.

The rules haven't changed.

• You get the first game of the season (Thursday, September 9th) free. We start for real on Sunday, September 12th.
  
  
• Your worst 2 weeks will be thrown out, so your score will be best 15 of 17 weeks.
  
  
• Everyone is responsible to get their own picks entered.
  
  
• Feel free to invite others to play.
  
  
• Only enter your picks once each week. That means you can't change them.
  
  
• All of your picks must be entered one hour before the first game starts each week.
  
  
• If you don't enter picks any week, you will receive the same score as the lowest score for that week. (You can only do this twice!)
  
  
• You must enter picks at least 15 weeks of the 17 weeks in the contest! If you fail to enter picks for three (3) weeks, you can still play along but you are no longer eligible for prizes.

When you fill out the picks form each week, it will be automatically mailed to me. I will have to manually track and post the results.

Don't forget, as the season progresses, some weeks begin the schedule on Sunday or Saturday. The dates and times listed on the table below are the deadlines for entering picks each week, one hour prior to the start of the first game (Eastern time).
